Vincent Careme has been making Vouvray since he worked his first vintage at the age of 14 under the watchful eye of his grandfather. As he gained experience, he worked harvests in different locations around the world but it was in South Africa (where he met his wife) that he found a second home and a place where he could explore new expressions of Chenin Blanc. This is a powerful and lively expression of Chenin that shows golden apple and meyer lemon notes with a distinct mineral streak that gives the wine structure.
